We do not charge for initial meetings – these are a good opportunity for us to learn a bit more about your idea and what you want to achieve. They are also a good opportunity for you to learn a bit more about us, the services we offer and the likely costs involved.

Going forward, you will find our charges to be highly competitive.  They comprise a combination of time-based charges for substantive work, service charges for certain formal tasks and disbursements in respect of payments we make on clients' behalf to legal bodies or overseas attorneys.  In the case of disbursements, we may ask clients for advance payment. We offer a discount on our service charge where advance payment is received.

It is important to us that clients do not receive surprise invoices.  Wherever practicably possible, we will give cost estimate before any work is conducted and will only proceed with your instructions.  For certain types of work, for example contentious work, it can be  difficult to give an accurate estimate as this depends on the amount of time involved.  We will always keep you posted as to what we are doing and why.
