We are delighted to be the incumbent IP advisor to the Westmont Enterprise Hub based at the Univeristy of West London advising on their incubatees on all matters concerning intellectual property. The Hub is UWL's ideation, innovation and incubation centre based at the heart of the St Mary's campus. They back brilliant ideas and help start-ups grow - from the flicker of something smart, through to proof of concept and on to market. They welcome those from the University, or beyond, in the West London Community.
We are proud to be Gold Sponsors of the Cambridge University Scientifc Society this year and look forward to meeting anybody who might be attending their events.
We are also delighted to work closely with Mark Sheahan, President of the Institute of Inventors and Patentees (IPI) and the British Library Business & IP Centre's Inventor in Residence. Mark is an experienced business owner with a demonstrated history of working in the inventing, business mentoring and licensing industry. His specialities are in business planning, invention, entrepreneurship, manufacturing, plastic injection moulding, packaging closure technology, intellectual property and licensing. Through the BIPC, Mark offers Expert sessions in the form of free one-hour meetings at the British Library aimed at inventors, innovators and entrepreneurs.
Many of our exisiting clients, or potential new clients, require more specific legal advice that may relate to IP, but also to other legal matters that go far beyond the realms of IP.
To this end, we are delighted to work closely with Philips Law who are always happy to step in and assist, independently or in conjunction with us, when appropriate. We work with Max Hope and Jack Gardner in particular but they will be happy to point you in the direction of a different contact at Philips if the advice needed requires more specialist knowledge.
Some of our clients are in need of designs for injection moulding, rapid prototyping, sheet metal fabrication, aluminium extrusion & cast aluminium. We typically point them to James Barr Design Ltd, who we have had the pleasure working with for several years now.
James Barr Design Ltd is an experienced and flexible product design consultancy based in Redhill near Gatwick. James works with entrepreneurs and SMEs to take product ideas from concept through to manufacture (with an extensive network of prototyping and manufacturing partners). Alongside their engineering 2D/3D CAD services, James can also support your project with marketing product visuals and ongoing support for manufacture.
When filing a patent for your invention, high-quality, technical drawings of the invention must also be filed as well. We are proud to work with New Skin Design, a design studio based in Madrid.
For many years, New Skin Design has created the technical drawings for many of our client's patent applications, utilising their years of experience in industrial design and product visualisation. In addition to this, they also aid our clients in developing new logos or branding for their products and businesses.
Many clients who we speak to are in need of further advice and assistance with developing their products and getting them to market. To this end, we are pleased to work closely with The Inventions Factory who provide a complete technology management service to established businesses, inventors and entrpreneurs who want to turn their inventions into a commerical venture.
