Adhib Mubarak
Trainee Patent Attorney
Adhib joined Agile IP in 2023 and is training to become a UK and European Patent Attorney.
He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2020 with an MSci in Chemistry, as part of which he spent a year at a speciality chemicals manufacturer synthesising a bi-functional additive for natural rubber.
Adhib is particularly interested in the synthesis of polymeric materials and their applications. Adhib honed this interest firstly through completing his Master's thesis, where he explored the rheological properties of self-assembled nucleobase-containing synthetic polymers. Prior to joining the team, he has experience working in industry as a research chemist, working for an architectural coating manufacturer and then a multinational speciality polymer manufacturer where he carried out research into sustainable emulsion polymers.
He gained an understanding of the inner workings of IP through Agile's weekly intern group, which cemented his passion working in intellectual property.
In his spare time, you will find Adhib out in nature being an amateur photographer and in the kitchen testing his cooking skills.
